His mediation and negotiation skills, has earned him wide respect in the legal community. Robert Sheppard has enjoyed an exceptionally impressive record for resolving contested disputes between landlords and tenants, disputes between neighbors, disputes with real estate agents, and disputes between parties claiming conflicting interests to real estate. In 1999, he was asked to join “The Real Estate Neutrals” – a select group of experienced real estate Mediators in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mr. Sheppard’s reasonable rates for mediation services have saved litigants thousands of dollars from more costly and less efficient Judicial and Arbitration Mediation Services.
Besides being a respected private Mediator, the firm’s senior partner, Robert Sheppard, is a court- approved Arbitrator and has presided over 500 settlement conferences and trials as a “pro tem” judge in the San Francisco courts.
